Roger Middleton The World of International Business Law "Relevant and Accessible" |
An International world As a native English speaker, I have specialised in teaching international students for over twelve years using the mixture of cultures and languages in any student group to develop the interactivity and the sense of exploration which drive the desire to learn and understand. After a number of years in retail management, working for large national and multi-national enterprises, as well as for myself, I decided to study law and afterwards took a Masters degree in Business Administration and later a Masters in European Law and Policy. This enabled me to build a second career around teaching and writing about English business and commercial law at universities in the south of England. Moving to a French university in 2006 showed me there is a demand for a wider approach to satisfy the demands of future global business managers. Now, part of my time each year is spent teaching a number of aspects of international business, sports and hospitality law, plus business-planning economics to post-graduate students studying at one of a group of internationally accredited Business Schools, known in France as Grandes Ecoles. I continue to teach, research and publish in Britain.
